The Federal Unitary Enterprise of RF Defense Ministry Scientific Research Institute #21 has tested the multi-purpose engine generating set (MGD) Termit, manufactured by the OOO Polikon company (Russia) to be used in military automotive equipment (VAT) and other military purpose equipment and facilities.
The tests have shown that MGD Termit can be installed on a motor vehicle and activated by its standard engine. The generating set is rotated via a belt drive with the help of an extra flywheel either mounted on the engine crankshaft or by a standard flywheel. Several product modifications are available, depending on the type of motor vehicle.
